Privacy at a glance

HSP Test is designed so you can take the complete test and read your result without creating an account, sharing your identity, or sending your answers to us. The test runs in your browser. We use limited website analytics to understand whether public pages and the anonymous test flow are working, but those analytics do not include your answers, score, sensitivity range, or dimension scores.

This policy applies to hsptest.net. It explains which data the site does and does not process, how the test works, and which choices are available in your browser.

Quiz answers, scores, and results

HSP Test does not require your name, email address, account, or payment information. Your answers, total score, dimension scores, and result type are calculated in your browser. We do not send them to an API, store them in a database, place them in the page URL, or save them to local storage.

While you move from the questionnaire to a result page, the latest result can exist in the current page session so that it can be shown immediately. Refreshing the page, closing the tab, or reopening the site may clear that in-memory state. We cannot recover a completed result because no copy is sent to us.

Basic website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and anonymous test funnel events such as starting or completing the test. We do not send quiz answers, scores, result types, names, or email addresses to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our configuration.

Analytics can process technical information normally provided during a website request, such as browser and device details, an approximate location derived by the analytics provider, the page viewed, and referral information. We use that information in aggregate to identify broken pages, understand which guides are useful, and improve the site. It is not used to build an HSP profile about an individual visitor.

Cookies and browser controls

Analytics may use browser identifiers or cookies when enabled. You can block or remove cookies through your browser settings. We do not use quiz answers for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Blocking analytics scripts or cookies does not prevent you from taking the test or reading the complete result. Browser privacy settings, content blockers, and private browsing modes may offer additional controls. Because the quiz itself does not depend on analytics, these controls do not change its scoring.

External research links

Our educational pages link to research publishers and other external sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Following an external link leaves hsptest.net. We do not control how another site collects, retains, or shares information, so review that site's privacy notice when its practices matter to you.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the site's data practices change or when clarification is needed. A material change to quiz-data handling must be disclosed here and in the relevant product interface before it takes effect. The date above identifies the latest substantive update.

Privacy questions

Questions about this policy or the site's data practices can be sent to privacy@hsptest.net.
